IFR CLEARANCE TAPE: (CANADA)

Improve your IFR shorthand! This tape was developed by a professional pilot, an air traffic controller and a newly rated IFR pilot who combined their skills to provide an essential teaching aid to improve IFR clearance shorthand and explain many of the expectations of the clearances placed upon a pilot in the IFR environment.

Side one provides the aircraft location immediately followed by the ATC clearance. The clearances are read at a progressively quicker speed to improve your listening skills and develop your clearance shorthand. A pause in the tape after the clearance will give you the opportunity to read back your clearance. At the conclusion of the pause an explanation and analysis of the clearance is provided.

Side two gives the aircraft location followed immediately by the ATC clearance read at a speed typically used by ATC followed by a pause for read back.
